Andreea Baker, MSN, RN

DIRECTOR OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS AT DOANE UNIVERSITY

Andreea has served as the Director of Health and Wellness at Doane University for over two years. Prior to joining Doane, she was the Director of Health Services at another small institution in Nebraska. With over 12 years of experience in college health and well-being, Andreea has focused much of her career on clinical health services and prevention programming.

Outside of work, Andreea enjoys life on her hobby farm, where she cares for 16 goats, a cat named Kevin, and a cow named Mabel. She dreams of one day adding a miniature donkey to the mix and already has the perfect name picked out: Bernie.

Mark Frillman

Mark Frillman, BA, LADC

LICENSED DRUG & ALCOHOL COUNSELOR, ALCOHOL & OTHER DRUG EDUCATOR, UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA AT OMAHA

Mark Frillman works with the Counseling and Psychological Services office at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Being at UNO for the past 14 years he provides student counseling, works with student housing and conduct, and initiated the Collegiate Recovery Community. He also teaches the Drug Awareness class for COE Public Health/Behavioral Health. Spare time is spent woodworking and babysitting the grandchildren.

Jon Gayer, Ph.D.

ASST DIRECTOR OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG EDUCATION, UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA LINCOLN

Jon serves as the Alcohol and Drug Educator for the University of Nebraska Lincoln. In the summer of 2023, he made a transition into full-time prevention work, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the Fraternity and Sorority Community. Beyond his professional endeavors, Jon finds joy in spending quality time and embarking on adventures with his wife and two children.

Kalika Jantzen

DIRECTOR COUNSELING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS, SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Kalika, she/her pronouns, is a dually licensed behavioral health provider and has worked in residential substance use treatment, outpatient settings, and private practice. Kalika has always supervised site placement graduate interns and enjoys being a part of the learning for the next generation of behavioral health providers. Since starting at Southeast Community College, her first job in higher education, she Directs the Counseling Assistance Program for Students and contributes to the Prevention & Awareness learning opportunities across all SCC locations and the communities served there. She believes in the advocacy for behavioral health & wellness as integral to our communities' success! Kalika enjoys collaboration, reading & watching volleyball, and time spent with her partner and 3 kids.

DEAN OF STUDENTS, WESTERN NEBRASKA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

As the Dean of Students at Western Nebraska Community College, Emily leads a team dedicated to student success through prevention-focused programming, education, and open communication. Her office partners with local experts to provide learning opportunities on substance use and abuse at both the local and national levels. Also serving as the college’s student conduct officer, Emily oversees educational sanctions designed to reduce repeat policy violations and support student growth.

Her team coordinates several assessment efforts, including the Year One College Behavior Profile, which is integrated into New Student Orientation alongside prevention-focused discussions and events. Throughout her career, Emily has remained committed to fostering student well-being through prevention, education, accountability, and continuous assessment.

Alicia Dorcey McIntosh

ASSOCIATE VP FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS, WAYNE STATE COLLEGE

Alicia is a licensed mental health practitioner and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor.  She has worked in community mental health and private practice for over 20 years before moving to a career in higher education.  Alicia serves as the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs at Wayne State College.  She oversees student health, counseling, disability services, and is the Title IX coordinator.

Luz Colon-Rodriguez, LIMHP

AREA DIRECTOR OF COUNSELING AND PREVENTION EDUCATION SERVICES, CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Luz Colon-Rodriguez, LIMHP is the current Area Director of Counseling and Prevention Education Services at Central Community College. Before joining CCC Luz worked in community mental health specializing in trauma, suicide treatment, and child development/parenting support for 8 years as a bilingual provider. Prior to her experience as a licensed mental health clinician, she worked in Student Affairs at Creighton University and at College of the Holy Cross as an administrator of various award-winning Diversity and Inclusion programs for students and employees. Luz resides in Columbus, NE with her husband, their husky, and their two young children.

SENIOR DIRECTOR, RESIDENTIAL STUDENT INITIATIVES, BELLEVUE UNIVERSITY

Alaina works with teams focused on the residential student experience, from High School Admissions to Academic Advising, and Residence and Student Life. Her passion is providing a caring and compassionate environment to navigate the college experience. Seeing students make the transformation from their first year to graduation is the most rewarding part of her job.  She also loves coffee and traveling!
