JOIN THE NECPA
The NECPA Currently includes 26 institutions of higher education in Nebraska, including private and public colleges and universities as well as community colleges and proprietary colleges. NECPA members use strategic and comprehensive environmental approaches to reduce high-risk drinking and the negative effects of excessive alcohol use. The only criterion for membership is the written commitment of the top administrator to support his/her personnel in efforts to reduce high-risk drinking among the institutionʼs students.

The NECPA received a sub-award of $500,000 for the funding period 09/01/2023 - 05/31/2025 through the Nebraska Department of Health and Services (DHHS), Division of Behavioral Health. The Omaha Collegiate Consortium (OCC) is a subset of the NECPA and is supported by the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center of Substance Abuse Treatment under grant number T1010034-17, Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment Block Grant through a sub-award agreement with Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare. The OCC received an award of $115,770 for the funding period 07/01/2023 - 06/30/2024. No non-federal sources of funding support this program.
